About
Our journey to produce exceptional Malbec-based wines began in 2007 when we acquired our first parcel of land in (what is) a high mountain desert. After joining with Pablo Martorell, a third-generation winemaker, our adventure began. We later acquired additional parcels with distinctly different subsoil characteristics. We planted a small berry, clonal malbec varietal native to Argentina known for having high levels of polyphenols. Our first vintage was produced in 2012 and released in 2017.

Vineyard
Viña Andrico is a high-altitude vineyard (3,700 feet elevation) located at the foot of the Andes Mountains in the Uco Valley of Mendoza, Argentina.
Soil
Rocky, alluvial gravels mixed with sand and silt-excellent drainage.
Farming
Great wines begin in the vineyard. Our farming is designed to bring out the flavors and personality of our Uco Valley terroir.
HEAD WINEMAKER
Pablo Martorell
Pablo was born and raised in Tunuyan, a few miles from Viña Andrico. He’s a third generation winemaker, from a long line of winemakers in his family. Having trained at wineries in Argentina, France and California, Pablo has participated in both old and new world techniques and brings the best of both worlds to his winemaking.
ASSISTANT WINEMAKER
Walter Carrizo
Walter Carrizo began working at his Uco Valley based, family winery since he was a teenager. After training in Napa Valley, he returned to bring a wealth of experience in coordinating our winemaking activities. Walter’s wife Andrea is also a winemaker, so they certainly have lots to discuss at the dinner table.
HEAD AGRONOMIST
Andres Rodriquez
Andrés is known as a modern, responsible, eco-friendly vineyard manager. After working in Chile and with Michel Rolland’s team during the 2015 and 2016 harvests in Mendoza he joined us in 2017 and became our lead Agronomist in 2018. His modern approach to farming enabled us to adopt Good Agricultural Practices (GAP) which will eventually lead our grape production towards obtaining a 100% Organic Certification.
